NYAF-SL is a youth serving agency established in 2001 to promotes quality education, health, human rights and child protection services for vulnerable women, children, youths and adolescent in remote and deprived communities in Sierra Leone.

The organization has been working on education with government and community schools in Bonthe District, Moyamba District, Pujehun District, and Western Area Rural District for over 20 years to transform learning for the country’s most vulnerable children.

National Youth Awareness Forum established in 2001, is a proprietor of eight (8) government assisted primary schools. The schools were established in 2005 and run to date. Our approach has been holistic with the goal of bridging the gap in accessing opportunities to learn especially for children in deprived communities. In 2011, our work and impact began extending to other government-assisted primary and junior secondary schools. We work with school leaders and teachers to improve the quality of teaching/learning with strong collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and communities.
